01About this service
Sanchari is a digital service operated by Saichandan Mettu, in coordination with the IIT Hyderabad Transport Department. It lets members of the IIT Hyderabad community pay a fixed transport service fee and receive a boarding pass for campus shuttle and outstation (Patancheru, Miyapur) bus services. Sanchari does not operate the buses itself.
02Payment and your pass
- The fee for each route is fixed by our server. Neither you nor your browser can alter the amount charged.
- Payment is collected through the secure checkout of our payment gateway, a provider regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. This site never receives your card, UPI, or banking details.
- A pass becomes valid only after the payment gateway confirms payment to our server.
- Each pass is for one passenger on the selected departure, within the boarding window shown on the pass. It can be checked in once. Carry the pass and valid institute ID. A numbered seat is not reserved.
03Your responsibilities
- Carry valid identification and reach the boarding point on time, per the route information shown in the app.
- Use the pass only for your own travel. Passes must not be resold or transferred.
04Operator services
Delays, cancellations, route or timing changes, and service quality are the responsibility of the transport operators, not of this service. Schedule, fare, and route information shown in the app is provided in good faith and may change without notice.
05Refunds & privacy
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy.
06Changes
We may update these terms, the service, or its features at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
